Myrtle Beach is known to have some of the best golf courses in the world and has even been given the tagline “The Golf Capital of the World.” You’ll have no trouble finding one, as there are nearly 100 golf courses on the coast. Many golf courses have hosted famous golfers like Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Arnold Palmer has even helped build four courses in Myrtle Beach, including King’s North at Myrtle Beach National.

Along with all the golfing opportunities, Myrtle Beach has so much to do! The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk has plenty of amusement for the whole family. It features Riley’s Believe It or Not and everything that goes with it, plus a sky wheel, slingshot, and more. 

There are also 350 acres of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife at Broadway At The Beach. There are over 100 shops and famous restaurants, including Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and Paula Dean’s Family Kitchen. 

You can also reel in some fun in so many ways! Aside from fishing on the beach, there are deep-sea fishing tours, fishing charters, and an annual fishing rodeo. The Grand Strand Fishing Rodeo is one of the longest-running tournaments in the southeast.

If travel is needed, this is the perfect city for you. The Myrtle Beach International Airport is situated in the heart of the town and offers plenty of travel options. There are also multiple options for medical care, but the most convenient is Grand Strand Medical Center.
