Top of Grand Strand

North Myrtle Beach is a true coastal town at the top of the Grand Strand. As stated in the name, it is about 30 minutes north of Myrtle Beach and offers just as much entertainment. North Myrtle Beach is known for its immaculate coastline with an abundance of seashells and the recreation that it offers. 

Beaches Galore 

North Myrtle Beach has five beaches on its coast. One of which, Cherry Grove, has been named one of the best beaches in South Carolina. It notably features Cherry Grove Pier with a bait and tackle shop for anglers and a restaurant. The pier suffered damage during Hurricane Ian but is slowly opening back up heading into 2023. 

All of the beaches offer so many watersports, from parasailing to jet skis, dolphin cruises, pontoon rentals, and more. 

Much To Do 

Shopping, dining, exploring, and playing can all be done at North Myrtle Beach! Barefoot Landing is in the heart of the town and has everything to offer in one place. There are over 50 stores, over 20 eateries, a carousel, a theater, and plenty more. There will never be a lack of something to do at Barefoot Landing. And that’s just in one place! The city of North Myrtle Beach has plenty more individual stores to explore. 

Necessities 

In case of a medical emergency, the McLeod Seacoast Hospital is the closest 24-hour hospital, less than 15 minutes away. If travel is needed, Myrtle Beach International Airport is just over half an hour away, offering services from most major airlines.
